“Just wanted to share something. I have posted a few times about the weight I’ve lost doing the Jubilee Transformation. I’ve now lost about 60 pounds of fat, and gained 12 pounds of muscle and hydration, in about three months.

But that’s not all. I’ve come off of four medications. Two antidepressants, high blood pressure medication and cholesterol medication. I’m now med free. My blood pressure untreated when I started this was in the 145 over 95 range. Now, off medication it’s usually around 110 over 75. The antidepressants helped with the depression, but suppressed my personality. I’ve always been shy, but on these, I was extremely reserved and quiet. Now, off the meds, I’m much more outgoing, and I’m happier than I ever was on the meds. They also sort of fogged my mind. I think much more clearly now. The difference is night and day.

Gary Maddox mmmmm Pizza Recipe

diet pizza recipe Jun 20, 2014

Gary came home with a terrible desire for pizza the other night  and came up with the following.

2 Ezekiel Wheat Free Tortillas

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 tbs almond flour

1 tbs part skim mozzarella cheese

¼ Cup tomato sauce

3/4 cup part skim mozzarella cheese

½ tbs garlic powder

½ tbs Italian seasoning

1 tsp onion powder

½ tsp black pepper

½ medium onion diced

2 tbs green pepper diced

Toppings per taste

Meats – Such as sausage or beef should be

squeezed between paper towels while hot to remove

as much fat as possible.

Pepperoni should be of the turkey variety for reduced fat.

 

Lightly coat pizza pan with olive oil, place 1 tortilla in pan and brush lightly with olive oil

Spread almond flour and 1 tbs of cheese evenly over tortilla (provides texture and adhesion)

Place second tortilla over first and lightly brush with olive oil.

Bake at 300 degrees, or less for softer crust, for 20 minutes

The Half Time Factor - Gary Maddox - Testimony

I am at 44 days into the transformation and tomorrow starts the downhill side. I started at 200 lbs. and am now at 192 which does not sound like a lot of weight loss but according to Tom in my 4 week evaluation I gained 16 lbs. of muscle and lost 24 lbs of fat. I also lost 6.5 inches of girth and hydration is up over 50%. Just like the stories I read before I started the program it’s working and I feel great.

But the best part is going from a 36 inch waist to a 32. Time to go shopping.

People have had the false impression that if you eat fat it will turn into fat on your body. Appropriate dietary fat intake is crucial to whole body health at the cellular level. Let’s be clear though and focus on healthy fats. I’m busting the myths and  sharing the ‘good’ , the ‘bad’, and the ‘ugly’ about ‘fats’ and why they are essential for health on a cellular level. Debunking the Myths about Weight Loss

The general belief is that there is some magic secret to losing weight, looking better, and feeling great. The myths people believe are that a complicated diet must be followed and you have to spend all waking hours at the gym. The reality is actually quite simple, although most don’t want to believe the truth.

So let’s talk about eating better, being active and getting enough sleep. I want to encourage you that my program is simple, scientific and something that you can do for the rest of your life. Most people don’t want to look for the answers, but rather hide behind a set of complicated excuses.

Healthy Ice Cube Chocolates - Recipe

Skinny chocolate snacks
2 tbs almond milk
1/4 tsp pure raw stevia (I use THM brand)
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 scoop protein powder (I use whey isolate)
1/4 c Cocoa unsweet
1/2 c coconut oil
Put in ice cube trays, pop one out when you 'need' one

(can add a little raw peanut butter, or other toppings to create as well!)
